Zeng was born with strong will
and hate of injustice. In 1804, the French troops invaded Taiwan;
he joined Lin Cha-dong to fight in Keelung with military exploit.
People called him Zeng the Senior. He also ran “Zeng Qing Feng”
camphor house. After the Japanese occupation, he joined the
troop of General Yokoko and helped maintain the local security
with exploits and won the medals by the Japanese. In 1898, he
became an advisor at Yong Ling Department and was designated
as the District Chief of Wufeng. He worked hard until his death
in February 1911 at his home at the age of 62. |

During Japanese Occupation, Canrongsong was the 陸軍大佐之幕 , he came out to assist and maintain the public security locally and attained much merit. Japanese Government honored him the badge. In 1898, he was appointed to serve as 庸林圮埔辦務署參事 . In 1902, he served the post of the chief of Wufeng Area. He was so dutiful and painstaking all his life to serve others locally. |
