Experiences The three uncle and cousins at the Lower House of the Linˇ¦s MansionˇXLin Chao-song, Lin Zi-quan and Lin You-chun were called ˇ§Three Poets in Wufeng.ˇ¨ They were with great literary talent and their poems were seen everywhere at Lai Yuan. Lin Chi-xian left poems at Bu Chan Cabinet, Xiao Xi Pond, Li Chi Dao, She Gong Shrine, Chui Liu Bridge, Xi Jia Pavilion and Lin Yun Deng.

Lin Zi-quan composed ˇ§Idled Life in Wufengˇ¨ to describe the allusions of Lai Yuan and also left poems at Li Club. Lin You-chun composed ˇ§Stele of Iron Canonˇ¨ with others depicting Kao Pan Xuan, Wan Mi Yan and Wang Yue Feng.

Lin Zi-xiang has alias of Chao-song and Jun-tang; he called himself ˇ§Wu Men Dao Person.ˇ¨ He was the sixth child of Lin Wen-ming at the Lower House of the Linˇ¦s Family in Wufeng and the grandson of Lin Ding-ban. He exposed his talent when he was young and the neighborhoods praised his poems. When Taiwan was ceded to Japan, he was order by his mother to evade to Tong Cheng in China and then to Shanghai. He traveled famous mountains and rivers and changed his thoughts in poems composition due to the environment. His poems were grander. Upon returning to Taiwan, he called upon scholars everywhere and initiated ˇ§Li Clubˇ¨ with his cousin You-chun and Mr. Lai Shao-yao.

They exchanged views with literature and later built Wu Men Cao Tang. He then moved to Zhan Cu Yuan Mansion and dedicated into education and prepared the establishment of Taichung High School (now Taichung First Senior High School). Lin Chi-xiang often discussed with the current affairs and poetry with Liang Qi-chao when he stayed at Lai Yuan. Lin Chi-xiang was, as a result, influenced to engage in the nationalist movements. His representative work is ˇ§Collection of Poems at Wu Men Cao Tang.ˇ¨ He died in 1915 at the age of 41.
Contributions He exchanged views with literature at Li Club and later built Wu Men Cao Tang. He then moved to Zhan Cu Yuan Mansion and dedicated into education and prepared the establishment of Taichung High School (now Taichung First Senior High School).
