Experiences Second child of Lin Xun. His grandfather was a wealthy man in Dali. Thanks to the contribution of Sun Wen-cha to the country, he was employed as a political advisor and Zhen Wei General by the Government. Bon on September 14th, 1752, he lost his father at 2 and was raised by his mother Lin Huan Rui-niang. At the age of 6, his grandfather was influenced by Lin Shuang-wen Affair, which caused the family into a miserable situation. He moved to Jiayin Village in Wufeng with his brother Qiong-yao and mother. The three depended on one another and were very often in tough situations.
After the affair was stabilized, he moved to A Zhao Wu with his mother and engaged in trade after he was older and managed the family. However, his income could only sustain the daily needs. One night, Meng She Gong told him: ¡§I admire your filial piety and good deeds. There are twelve pieces of gold under my seat for you. You shall work hard with the gold. He went to Dalidai Village and dropped by Yiou She Gong Shrine. He went into the Shrine, worshipped and did find out the gold. He brought back the gold with a sincere heart.

Lin Jia-yin initiated his business with the gold and was very successful. At that time, A Zhao Wu was the place for the ¡§aborigines¡¨ with fertile lands. Yet, these aborigines were lazy and did not know how to plow and left the lands desolate. He bought the lands and made more profits on them. In the meantime, he felled the trees and made charcoal to make more income. His brother, Qiong-yao, already moved to Liuxunan Village next to A Zhao Wu. The two brothers often saw each other and shed tears when talking about the past.

Since then, the annual income could reach 400 thousand liters or crops. In October 1837, he ordered his children to setup their own businesses and families for the future scions. Lin Jia-yin died on December 16th, 1838 at the age of 57. His wife, Madame Dong, gave birth to three sons¡Xfirst one Ding-ban, second Dian-guo and third Zhen-xiang. She was with virtuous characteristics to help her husband and raise the children.
