Taipei Teacher Training School Subordinated to Taiwan Governor- Governor Department

He considered carefully, smart, with brilliance of mind and the apprehension differened from others. He has ever created Japese Haiku, short song and new poem when he was a student in Elementary School. He famed with good reputation of “A genius”. He read at Taipei Teacher Training School and then he was enlightened in formal arts. He was influenced by Shichuanqinyi great during this period. In 1925, he graduated and was appointed to the public school of Beitun in Taichung . All his friends during that time went aboard to Japan for advanced education, such as Limeishu, Yangshanlang and yanshui long. Only he could not do due to the limitation of the financial situation. He was not discouraged; on the contrary, he studied by himself and drew all the time. The works presented an imagery of realist and the aesthetic perception of imitating vision. Because of his assiduous and frugal efforts in sketching and Continuous creation, Mr. Yang finally won the first Art Exhibition in Taiwan by the watercolor painting of “the wood pond at the dusk” in October of 1937. From then on, he became the winer in all the exhibition, and took a place of painging in Taiwan .
