Wu, wu, wu¡K¡K, dark train take people to
the destination and the terminal station. Life which is intermingled with joy and sorrow
replays on the platform. Guards, booking clerks, street vendors peddling, passengers
coming and leaving put on kinds of different stories every day.
The Guard takes us to know the local customs. The rich man¡¦s daughter falls in love with
a long-term laborer. A leading actress of Taiwanese Opera makes a date with her lover to
run away. A farmer is called up to South Pacific and his family. A patriotic poet rushes
about on business. The poem which they chant express intellectuals¡¦ sorrow and a sense
of mission. Then the massive earthquake happened, and all of love and animosity vanished
completely. But natural and human disaster make people¡¦s heart get together again.
Because get through the sorrow, people protect their home and family more actively and
more cherish what they have.
This activity combines folk songs telling and singing with a drama, and take the audiences
to go back to the time which Japanese occupied, to feel the atmosphere at that time. |

Tracks are shocking, the Past Mountain-line
passing through the Island country, just like the flying time, spreading the homesickness
in the station. The time stage is made by tone, light, and old movies. ¡§Love of a head
of train¡¨ is proved by the old stationmaster, switchman. Where does ¡§ Destiny and
Opportunity¡¨ stay? Does it roam between ideal and future, or between beautiful past time
and reality? |
